Who we are

Findpra ("Findpra", "we", "us") provides a directory that helps people discover local professionals inside ChatGPT and contact them directly.

Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal data when you use Findpra inside ChatGPT (e.g., by calling @Findpra) or use our website and professional portal (registration, login, settings).

Important: Your ChatGPT conversation is handled by OpenAI under OpenAI's policies. Findpra only receives the information sent through tool/action calls (for example, your request and the city/neighborhood you type).

Data we collect

A) Data from users searching inside ChatGPT

  • Your request (e.g., "massage therapist")
  • Location text you provide (typically city/neighborhood)
  • Interaction signals such as which listing you requested details for
  • Contact-intent events (e.g., you asked to contact a specific professional)

Location note: We use the location text you type (city/neighborhood). We do not access precise GPS location.

Contact minimization: We do not return phone numbers or email addresses in search results by default. Contact details are only returned when a user explicitly requests contact for a specific professional.

We do not require a user account for searches.

B) Data from professionals (listings)

  • Profile data: name, category/profession, service area (city/neighborhood), profile photo, short description (optional)
  • Contact data: phone number, email, messaging link (e.g., WhatsApp), website (optional), and preferences about what we display
  • Control: Professionals can choose which contact methods are shown (e.g., phone, email, WhatsApp). We display only what the professional submits and allows us to show.
  • Account data: login email, authentication credentials (stored securely), settings
  • Validation data (where applicable): we may request additional information to validate listings and prevent abuse (depending on profession/category). We use it only for review, security, and trust & safety purposes.

C) Technical and usage data

We may collect standard technical data on our website/portal such as device/browser information and IP address (for security and basic analytics), pages viewed, timestamps, referral source, and security logs to prevent abuse.

How we use data

  • Provide the service: return listings relevant to a request and location
  • Enable contact: when a user requests contact, return the contact method(s) the professional provided and allowed us to display (e.g., phone, email, WhatsApp link)
  • Operate the professional portal: registration, approval, login, settings
  • Analytics and performance: measure appearances, views, and contact clicks for listings
  • Trust & safety: prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and protect our platform and users
  • Support: respond to help requests and feedback

What we do not do

  • We do not scrape phone numbers or contact details from the web.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not require users to create an account to search inside ChatGPT.

When we share data

A) Users (public listing information)

A professional listing may be shown to users, including name, photo, category, and service area.

Contact disclosure: Contact options are shown only when a user explicitly requests contact for a specific professional, and only using the contact details the professional provided and allowed us to display.

Professional consent: By creating a listing, professionals authorize Findpra to display their profile information and the contact methods they choose to provide to users who explicitly request contact inside ChatGPT. Professionals can update or remove their listing through Settings or by contacting support.

B) Service providers (processors)

We may use vendors (hosting, databases, analytics, email delivery) to run Findpra. They process data only under our instructions.

C) OpenAI (when used inside ChatGPT)

When Findpra is used inside ChatGPT, inputs and results are transmitted through OpenAI to our tool/action endpoints and back as results. OpenAI's handling of ChatGPT data is governed by OpenAI's policies.

D) Legal and safety

We may share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

External contact links

If you choose to contact a professional via phone (tel:), email (mailto:), WhatsApp (wa.me) or other third-party services, your interaction is governed by those third parties' terms and privacy policies.

Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security logs, and comply with legal obligations. Professionals can request deletion of their account and listing. Some records may be retained for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (e.g., U.S. state laws, GDPR, LGPD), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and object to or restrict certain processing.

To make a request, email support@findpra.com. If you are a professional, you may also manage certain settings in your account.

Children

Findpra is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and restrict access to personal data to authorized personnel and systems. No system is 100% secure, so please use caution when sharing sensitive information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
